As some of you are aware the week coming is European Week of Sport and some of you have already volunteered to help with the various activities that will be taking place during the week.If there are any other students in TY that are willing to help can you please email Mr Walsh ASAP so a schedule can be put together for teachers to know who will be out of class. Please check the schedule for the various activities and let Mr Walsh know which one you wish to help out with. The following students have already volunteered:
Mon: Obstacle Course, 1.20-2.30, Julie Trearty, Rachel McKenna, Orla Carr
Wed: 5km relay- 12.25pm, Steve McDaid, Orla O'Donnell, Sinead Gallagher, Aoibhinn Lynch, Emma Corry, Saoirse McTaggart.
Thu: Ultimate Frisbee- 1.20-2.30, Oisin McMenamin
Long Kick Competition, 1.20pm, GAA pitch, John Joe Doherty, James Sweeney, Oran Flanagan.
I am also looking for students who will put out the tennis equipment and a basketball, will supervise the tennis/basketball courts and collect the equipment again each day.
Finally, please remember to get registered for the Bronze Gaisce Award ASAP if you are thinking of taking part.
