Dear TY Coordinator,

The RCSI Transition Year Mini Med Programme 2017 will take place between RCSI St Stephen’s Green and Beaumont Hospital from 9^th – 13^th January 2017.

The programme is designed to give the students from all over Ireland the opportunity to experience what it is like to train and work as a doctor. The programme consists of lectures, practical classes and live surgeries via video link to the operating theatre, all of which are carried out by leading professionals in their respective areas.

We are pleased to announce that registration for all schools will open on the 12^th September 2016 and will close on the 21^stSeptember 2016. To register please follow this link.

Please note places are limited and will be allocated on a lottery basis after registration has closed; registration for the lottery does not guarantee a place on the programme.

The following details will be required to complete the online registration:

• Name of School
• TY Coordinator
• School Address
• School Phone Number

Please note the following important information:

• Places are limited and will be allocated on a lottery basis
• Students MUST be in Transition Year in January 2017 to get a place on the programme
• Registrations can only be accepted from the school. There are no individual student applications accepted.
• If you do not register for the lottery by the 21^st September 2016 it will unfortunately not be possible to facilitate requests at a later date

Once registration closes on the 21^st September we will be in touch within a few short weeks to all those that have submitted interest to advise if you have been successful/unsuccessful in securing a space.

Please note the fee to attend the programme is €50. Successful schools will be advised of the next steps for student registration, including payment of this fee after the lottery draw.
